Epic fail on my part a couple weeks ago.

The Annenberg Space for Photography, a photo museum in Century City, had an exhibit for the last several months featuring rock and roll musicians. I’m a rock music fan so I was looking forward to catching the exhibit at some point, but I missed it.
The exhibit entitled “Who Shot Rock & Roll” featured over 100 images and videos of musical artists and icons, promising a lot of “behind the scenes” shots. It was supposed to end its run in mid-October, but Annenberg extended the show for a couple more weeks. I still missed it.
I’m a U2 fan, so I was hoping to get a glimpse of some work by the band’s photographer Anton Corbijn. Lizzy and I made an effort to make it to the last day of the show. The problem: so did everyone else in L.A. Typical. We’re all a bunch of procrastinators. The line was too long and figured we wouldn’t be able to make it in, so we left.
Ugh. Procrastinators. Photo by coreanscribe.
But before we cursed, complained and headed back home, we checked out some of the large stills Annenberg displayed outside the museum, so I guess we weren’t completely shut-out. I learned an obvious lesson here for the next time we find ourselves in a similar situation: cut in line.
Some of the shots displayed featured Oasis, Black Eyes Peas and Siouxsie Sioux. Photo by coreanscribe.
