There have been lots of rumors and reports today about the Sacramento Kings on the verge of being sold to Chris Hansen and Steve Ballmer’s Seattle basketball ownership group. I hate being part of a fan base that “takes” a team from another city. I know how that feels. It happened to Seattle when Oklahoma City’s ownership group stole the Sonics in 2008. It feels hypocritical, but, right now, I don’t care. I hope these latest rumors are true. Sorry, Sacramento. I want to be emotionally invested in the NBA again. I want my SuperSonics back. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
