No Hitter = No Work

I confess. This is practically all I did yesterday at my desk at work: watch baseball.

It finally paid off for once. Pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma delivered a no-hitter against the Baltimore Orioles.

It’s turning out to be another miserable season for the Seattle Mariners, but, at least, for day, it was a joy to watch and experience. Thank you, Kuma.

By the way, the underachieving 2015 Seattle Mariners have one of the worst win-loss records in the American League. In spring training, many of the baseball pundits and national baseball writers predicted they would go to this year’s World Series.
