I finally saw AC/DC.
It was from the top of Dodger Stadium and it was glorious.

I always seemed to miss my opportunity, for whatever reason, to see these guys live, so seeing them in concert was in the making for a long time.
I’ve been a fan since I was a kid and the itch to see them was always there. Growing up, whenever I would go to a concert or show, and the warm-up music blasting through the P.A. system included an AC/DC tune, the concert-goers gathered would be driven into a wild frenzy of delight, that usually wouldn’t be matched for the rest of the night. I’d remember thinking: “I really gotta see these guys.” That went on for years. They were becoming my musical “white whale.”

When the lights went out and that crunchy guitar riff started, it was like they started an unstoppable rock ‘n’ roll freight train. It was everything I had hoped for and wanted. Nobody rocks harder than AC/DC. Nobody. Their performance of “Back in Black” that night will stay with me for a long time.

The concert experience was well worth the long wait. I can now happily cross that one off my musical bucket list while banging my head.
